Are there credit history requirements to apply?

 There is not a minimum credit score to apply. However, you must still qualify for a standard first mortgage from another lender. You may also need to complete additional Housing Counseling if your credit score is below conventional thresholds. For applicants with no traditional credit history, rental and utility payment history may be considered.
