How can I get started with Homebuyer Education (HBE)?

Attend a Homebuyer Education (HBE) class. Contact dpa@cedproject.org or 970-363-6051 to register for a Homebuyer Education class. Classes are available in-person, virtually, in English and Spanish. Each borrower must register individually. CEDP classes are free.
Submit the Pre-Purchase Counseling Intake Form to schedule your one-on-one housing counseling session.
Participate in one-on-one pre-purchase counseling to review your homeownership goals, budget, credit, and mortgage readiness.
Complete the one-on-one pre-purchase counseling and obtain your Certificate of Completion.
Receive your Certificate of Completion, which will be required for certain mortgages and the Community-First Mortgage Assistance Program.
