# EMAP - How will I be informed of the approval or denial of my EMAP application?

## All applications submitted before 8/26/25 at 5pm will be placed on a waitlist and reviewed in the order they are submitted as quickly as possible. Submitting an application prior to the deadline optimizes your chances, but not all waitlisted applications will receive funding, as it is contingent upon the remaining available funds.

Once a determination about your application is made, you will be informed via email, phone, text, or the Neighborly application portal.  Your reviewer will let you know if any additional information is needed to process your application, and if approved, the amount of assistance you are approved for.
