Legal Documentation Examples
This article provides examples of what a demand, summons, writ of restitution, or sheriff eviction notice may look like.
Demand

Summons
*Please note, a summons and demand are DIFFERENT. A demand likely has a date with a timeframe in which to pay, whereas a summons will have a court date AND time, along with additional information around filing an answer.*

Stipulation
A tenant can get a stipulation in an eviction case by reaching a written agreement with the landlord and filing it with the court.

Writ of Restitution

Sheriff Eviction Notice
*Typically on yellow paper or has red font on it. Will be issued by your county's sheriff department.*
