# Who is eligible for the Community-First Mortgage Assistance Program?

You must be a first-time or first-generation homebuyer, and be purchasing a main home in one of our eligible rural Colorado counties.

Additionally, you must be able to get an approved standard mortgage loan from another lender, and complete required homebuyer education and counseling.

Applicants must have a total household income that is at or below 120% of the county's average income (this is referred to as Average Median Income, or AMI).
