Typically no - the Emergency Mortgage Assistance program is designed for short-term assistance. At this time, homeowners cannot reapply for any additional round of assistance called a recertification.
As of February 26, 2024, the Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program is no longer accepting recertification requests (AFRs). No new recertifications can be submitted after February 25th, 2024 at 11:59 pm. Any recertification submitted before this deadline will be reviewed and processed in the order they were received, if eligible.
