The Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program is designed to help eligible Colorado homeowners keep their homes by assisting with:
- Mortgage assistance (not required to be delinquent)
- Mortgage reinstatement assistance (amounts over $30,000 require a sustainability review)
- Homeowner or Condominium association fees or liens
- Homeowner’s utilities (including gas, electric, water, sewer and solar) *EMAP does not assist with internet
- Payment assistance for delinquent property taxes (not included in mortgage payment)
- Homeowner’s insurance payment assistance (not included in mortgage payment)
- Lot rent assistance (for owner occupied mobile homes)
- Chattel loan assistance (for owner occupied mobile homes)
