Food Delivery

Benefits in Action

Service Area: Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, Jefferson.
Street Address: 12157 W Cedar Dr, Suite 100 Lakewood, CO 80228

Phone Number: 720-221-8354
Email Address: info@benefitsinaction.org
Hours of Operation: By Appointment Only Monday – Friday  9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Evenings and Weekends Upon Request.
Services Provided: Food Security, Food Delivery
Eligibility Criteria: Must live in one of the following counties: Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, or Jefferson
Application/Intake: It is fastest to call their number in order to submit an application with an agent directly. These agents can also provide an estimate of how long it may take for you to receive their delivery, unlike an online application. You can still apply online (HERE) if you are not able to call, but that application does not provide an estimated delivery time.

Wait time: After an application has been received (either through phone or online), the organization receives these requests & will do a few checks to confirm supplies needed, and will then coordinate distribution to the desired location. On average, if all eligibility is met and the applicant lives near their routes, these requests can be fulfilled by the next day. It can take a few days more if the types of food supplies needed take more time or if the location for the drop-off is farther from their typical route.
Additional Information: Due to high call volumes, their phone hold times may take a while to connect.
