There is limited funding capacity for new applications at this time. The Colorado Emergency Rental Assistance (CERA) program will offer open pre-applications periodically to Coloradans who are behind on rent and meet current income eligibility requirements. Applicants must not have received rental assistance from local, state, or federal resources in the last 24 months. After the pre-application period is complete, selected applicants will be notified of their application status by email.
Please check the website at www.doh.colorado.gov/emergency-rental-assistance to find out the next date the pre-application will open. It is important to note that due to a high demand on financial resources a limited number of Coloradans will be served and those facing an eviction will be prioritized.
