Lifeline Program - TDS Telecommunications
TDS provides a monthly discount on communication services which may include broadband internet, phone (landline or wireless), or bundles to eligible low-income households.

Low-Cost Internet Plan - PCs For People
PCs For People provides a Low-Cost Internet Plan for low-income individuals needing internet connectivity in their households. A modem with unlimited 4G LTE internet service is provided to connect those using this program to the internet.

Eligibility Criteria:
- This program helps people with income at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines.
- Must be below the 200% poverty level or be currently enrolled in an income-based government assistance program.

- Monday-Friday 7am-8pm CST
- Saturday: 8am-6pm CST

- Proof of Income: The prior year's state, federal, or tribal tax return (W2 forms or pay stubs are not acceptable).

Catholic Charities of Central Colorado - Castle Rock

Catholic Charities of Central Colorado Castle Rock Office offers a variety of programs and services to help individuals and families move toward self-sufficiency, including individualized case management and referrals.

Services Offered: 
- Case Management/Care Plans: Case Managers work with families and individuals experiencing crises to identify needs and goals, then help develop a plan to achieve those goals.
- Emergency Services: We are a community resource for meeting emergency needs through tangible support such as rent, utilities, essential baby needs, and a food pantry.
- DC Cares: We are a partner and a referring agency for DC Cares, a multi-agency collaborative providing opportunities to vulnerable residents in Douglas County.
- Community Outreach Programs: Through partnerships with the Catholic churches and other agencies in the community, we conduct several outreach programs throughout the year.
Eligibility Criteria: Must reside in either Douglas, Park, or Elbert County for services. For specific services, each department has their own eligibility criteria and availability that can be discussed in more detail through the initial outreach. 
Application/Intake Process: You can call their phone number to set up an appointment with their Case Management services first. During that call, the advocate on the line will overview a Needs Base Assessment/Intake form with you to see your needs and eligibility. Afterward, during the appointment with the Case Manager, that Case Manager will follow-up with you on the information provided from that Intake form and move forward from there.
- Additionally, if you are new to Catholic Charities of Central Colorado and need help, you can also  fill out this Initial Contact Form on their website so they can serve you as effectively and efficiently as possible.
- Based on your answers, someone from the appropriate department will contact you at the telephone number or the email you provide in the contact form.
Wait Time: Averages 2 weeks to meet with a Case Manager/have that appointment. To be an established client with Catholic Charities of Central Colorado, you’ll  need to meet with a CM first before starting any additional processes.


Home Share - Sunshine Home Share Colorado

Services Provided: Transitional Housing​. This is not a rental assistance program. It is for housing connection resource for home seekers.
Eligibility Criteria: This program is for individuals 18 and older.  Home seekers will need to provide ID and proof of income at intake.​ 
Application/Intake Process: Online interest card, followed by an application.​
Additional Information: This is not a rapid housing program, most matches take at least 8 weeks. This is not a caregiving program or a replacement for caregiving.



Energy Bill Payment Assistance - Energy Outreach Colorado

Eligibility Criteria:
- Their income is at or below 80% Area Median Income (varies by county).
- To qualify for assistance: you must pay home energy costs directly to an energy vendor/utility, your bill is past due or you are running low on fuel, you must meet income qualifications. ​

- Apply For their Bill Payment Assistance through their Partnered Agencies, which can be found on this website by entering your zip code to find an agency that serves your area.

Electric & Gas Affordability Programs through Xcel
Non-emergency energy assistance programs are administered and supervised by Xcel Energy. Click this following link to be directly sent to Colorado's Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) website.

Eligibility Criteria: If your income is up to 60% of the state median income level, you may qualify for heating assistance through LEAP. The state median income level used for the 2023-24 LEAP season was released by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in July 2023. The amount of the energy assistance benefit varies depending on a variety of factors, including the primary heating fuel costs and income.
Application/Intake Process: The 2023-24 LEAP season is now open. Applications are accepted until April 30, 2024.
LEAP accepts applications between November and April. Click below to learn more about applying for LEAP benefits, including a checklist to help you prepare your application. Eligibility Criteria: This program helps women, children, and transgender individuals who are experiencing poverty or homelessness.  This program covers residents of the following counties: Adams County, CO, Arapahoe County, CO, Broomfield County, CO, Clear Creek County, CO, Denver County, CO, Douglas County, CO, Elbert County, CO, Gilpin County, CO, Jefferson County, CO and Park County, CO.​
Application/Intake Process: Members may access food bags any time at the Resource Desk. All visitors are asked to wear cloth face coverings or disposable face masks.  Adults can get up to 30 pounds of food every 30 days at the Resource Desk. Families with kids under 18 can access up to 90 pounds of food every 30 days from the Family Program. Members can choose between "kitchen" bags and "to-go" bags based on their needs and wants. "Kitchen" bags have items that require a stove. "To-go" bags have snack items and items that only require hot water or a microwave to make.​

Widow’s Oil Pantry - Harris Park Bible Church

Eligibility Criteria: On your 1st visit you will be asked to complete a short form the primary purpose of which is to inform the pantry's suppliers about where the food is going. On each subsequent visit you only need to sign-in.​
Application/Intake Process: Each Thursday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Widow's Oil Pantry is open for anyone who is in need of food. The address is 2257 Shelton Drive, Bailey CO 80421. No appointments are necessary. The pantry is operated on a walk-in basis. On your 1st visit you will be asked to complete a short form the primary purpose of which is to inform the pantry's suppliers about where the food is going. On each subsequent visit you only need to sign-in.​
Wait time: Available immediately during food operation hours.
